Mike Johnson is a partner in our information technology division. He joined the firm in 1987. Mike manages the Information Technology Team and focuses on advancing the use of information systems to enhance modern accounting. He is responsible for technology strategies and implementation for the firm as well as for the firm’s clients. Mike and the IT team share the responsibility of computer system design, analysis, integration and implementation.

Mike earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from the University of West Florida in 1977. He became licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Florida in 1987. Mike earned the designation of Certified Information Technology Professional (CITP) from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants in 2001. Mike has also received the Certified Accounting Applications Specialties (CAAS) - a designation from Microsoft Great Plains for the Dynamics accounting product. Mike was appointed to the Florida Commission on Community Service by Governor Lawton Chiles in 1995.
