Marvin Beasley is a partner in the firm's audit division. He joined the firm in 1991. He has expertise in planning and supervising auditing and accounting services engagements. Marvin is also director of our firm's business valuation and litigation support services. His skills in this area include the valuation of closely held business interests and the calculation of lost profits and monetary damages.
Marvin earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce and Business Administration from the University of Alabama in 1974. He became licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Alabama in 1976 and in the state of Florida in 1992. Marvin also was accredited in business valuation (ABV) by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants in 1998. In addition to testifying in the state and federal courts related to accounting issues and business valuations, the ABV certification allows Marvin to adeptly provide valuation services to individuals and business owners for use in succession planning, buy-sell agreements and mergers/acquisitions.

Marvin loves his two-year-old cocker spaniel "Callie". In fact, he now has a 9 month old sister, "Sophie" to keep him company.
